Effective Date: May 7, 1999
NASA recognizes and endorses the importance of bringing to light, preventing, and/or seeking early, informal resolution of employment-related disputes and of treating all employees reasonably and fairly. This NPR establishes the responsibilities, procedures, and guidelines that are directed towards achieving these objectives through the NASA Grievance System and should be used in conjunction with the referenced statutory and regulatory requirements. Center Personnel Offices should be consulted for further information and guidance.
This NPR is applicable to NASA Headquarters and NASA Centers, including Component Facilities. Unless otherwise indicated, use of the word Center(s) in the text of the NPR includes NASA Headquarters, and any reference to Center Director(s) includes the Assistant Administrator for Infrastructure and Administration.
