Subject: FURTHER DESIGNATION UNDER EXECUTIVE ORDER NO.12958 |
TEXT Pursuant to the provisions of section 1.4 of Executive Order No. 12958 of April 17, 1995, entitled "Classified National Security Information," I hereby designate the following additional officials to classify information originally as "Top Secret": The Chair, Commission on the Roles and Capabilities of the United States Intelligence Community The Director, National Counterintelligence Center The Chair of the Commission on the Roles and Capabilities of the United States Intelligence Community, shall exercise the authority to classify information originally as "Top Secret" during the existence of the Commission and for such time afterwards as may be necessary to complete the Commission's administrative affairs. The authority of the Director of the National Counterintelligence Center to classify information originally as "Top Secret" is limited to those circumstances in which the original classification of information is necessary in order for the Center to fulfill its mission and functions. Any delegation of this authority shall be in accordance with section 1.4(c) of Executive Order No. 12958. This order shall be published in the Federal Register. /s/William J.
