is the codification of the general and permanent rules published in
the Federal Register by the executive departments and agencies of
the Federal Government. It is divided into 50 titles that represent
broad areas subject to Federal regulation. Each volume of the CFR is
updated once each calendar year and is issued on a quarterly basis.

This is a consolidation and codification by subject matter of the
general and permanent laws of the United States. Therefore, it links

- OFFICE OF
MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET (OMB): The OMB has the role of assisting the
President in the development and implementation of budget, program,
management, and regulatory policies. Since the General Accounting
Office (GAO) audit of certain federal (non-NASA) fleets in 2004, the
OMB has been taking a number of actions to require Agencies to
better manage and improve the cost efficiency of their fleets. See
