Alternative Fueled Vehicles

Mandatory Use of On-Site Alternative Fuel Resources

Ideally, all Centers should have on-site alternative fuel facilities but this may not be feasible at all locations. Nevertheless, for sites that do have the capability, use of B20 bio-diesel fuel is required for diesel-powered vehicles and use of E-85 fuel is required in all vehicles that are designed for E-85 use. The use of fuel management key- or card-lock systems to enforce use of on-site supplies of E-85 is recommended where appropriate.
